Instructions For Managing Your CHCS Profile

This page contains some basic instructions to help you access, check and edit your CHCS profile. 

If you were a member before 27 March 2015, your profile data was imported from our legacy system. If you joined after that date you probably created your profile from our "Join CHCS" page.

Re-Setting The Password For Your Account

If you need to re-set your password you can do one of the following:

If you already logged in:

If you just wish to change your password click on the "Change password" option at the upper right of the screen. You will be asked for your old password and then to enter, and re-confirm your new password. The system will then take you to your profile page.

If you are already logged in but have forgotten your password:

Firstly, you need to log out and then follow the instructions below.

If you are not logged in: 

Click on the "Forgot password" link on the upper right of the screen. You will be asked for your email address and to enter a security code displayed on the screen. Then press the “Submit” button.

The system then tells you it has sent reset instructions to your email address. The email will contain a link on which you click and are presented with a “Reset you password” screen. Enter your new password and re-confirm.

You will see a message on screen telling you that your password has been changed. Click on the given “Home” link and enter your email address and new password, as usual, to log in.

Your CHCS Account & Profile

Once you are logged in you have access to your account and profile data. Initially you will be taken to the "Home" page of the account. To view your profile data click on the "View profile" link at the upper right of the screen. 

From this screen you can view your profile data. If you wish to edit any information, click on the "Edit profile" button. Once you've finished editing, don't forget to click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen (or on "Cancel" to lose any changes). 

Please note: if you change your email address, or details of the organisation to which invoices are sent, please also send an email to CHCS Administration enquiries@chcs.org.uk noting what you have changed. Thank you.




Other Account Options

The "My profile" screen contains several other links. Here are brief explanations of each:

Privacy

After clicking on the "Privacy" link you will be shown what data other members can see. Again, clicking on the "Edit profile" button enables you to change these settings. Please do consider any changes very carefully.

Email subscriptions

Clicking on this link shows you the CHCS email announcements you will receive. We strongly recommend you don't turn any of these off. If you do, you could miss important information sent out by the CHCS Office.

Member photo albums

This link opens an area where you can create photo albums if you like.

Invoices and payments

This screen lists all invoices and payments you have made to CHCS since the new system went live in late March 2015. 

Log out

With all online systems, we recommend to click on the "Log out" button once you have finished with the account screen.

SDS Training Modules & Events

You can now register for all SDS Training Modules and other CHCS Events online. The online registration systems can be accessed from the usual menu items on the main CHCS website at www.chcs.org.uk. Clicking on links from each Module or Event will take you to the online booking forms.
